Hello out there ,ok where do i begin??
I have a 206 1.4 hdi sw
I have owned for a couple of years, the first problem started early last year, sometimes when i turn the car on, it idles but the acclerrator pedal doesnt work ,I push it but nothing?? then after a few mins the car does a very little judder then it works, this is an intermittent thing ?i had it diagnosed but they said the pedal was working fine?? been in garage a few times and still no joy!
Also the Balls have dropped off, she is not the fastest of cars but the pull away has gone and hills are a nightmare,55 at 2700 revs again into the garage and a new MAF and EGR and still the same , she actually has more pull away with the MAF unplugged, the fuel miles are down but at least i can pull out onto an A road without fear of being rear ended,
so please can anybody help or is it a fire in the footwell jobby??/
regards DAve on canvey DOH!

where you say they checked the pedal do you mean the throttle position sensor under the bonnet next to the air filter box ?
balls have gone , is there any black smoke out the back when you are at 2700 Revs ?

More pull with MAF disconnected sounds like a defective MAF! Is the new MAF defective?
Also worth checking all air intake / turbo pipes for splits or leaks.

hi guys , sorry have been away from the internet,,thank you for your replies....
all turbo pipes seem ok!! and no Black smoke !!at 2700,
on the pedal problem i think they did it through the software ,not sure if they looked under the bonnet? so maybe i should look at replacing the throttle sensor ,is it easy to replace!!???
How can i check the MAF sensor ??? to be fair the last garage said he checked the original one and said it was fine, but i bought a new one regardless,,,but no difference!still runs better without, although i am doing a lot less miles to the gallon,,,
regards
DAve
