Hi,
yesterday my car didn't start and I thought that the problem is the battery so I changed it and it works perfectly but today it wont start again I heared only a "click" sound and I tried to check the fuse box under the bonnet and I discover that when I remove this fuse ( see the pic ) and plug it in again the car start normally .
any idea what is the problem ?

Fuse 4 is BSI fuse. Don't think it is 70A as the following suggests though.

www.autofuseboxdiagram...x-diagram/

With a small screw driver you may be able to push the contacts in the fuse holder closer together to make a better contact or just replace the fuse. The contact faces are probably dirty. Tight contacts and remove refit the fuse 2 or 3 times is often enough to clean the contact face and cure the intermittent fault.

Have a look at shutting down BSI and BSI reset procedure. You ought to follow that if you are removing and replacing these fuses.

Spray the fuse holder with one of these may also help. Useful to keep as it looks like quite a few have used it to clean MAF.

Looks like the contacts are quite strong. You can see where the fuse has been scrapped clean removing it. Keep it as a spare it was probably just dirty connection that has now been cleaned up just replacing the fuse.

Good luck.

You have been good to spot the specific fuse. Most people would have pulled and reseated each fuse and relay in one single go. Problem fixed but they would never have known which fuse or item was at fault.

Well done to you.

Keep an eye on it, if you have persistent problems. This was a reoccurring problem on my hdi relating to the fuel pump.

That's because you are looking at / linked to a NON plexed fuse list when the OP's car is MULTIPLEXED Wink

The 10 amp F4 fuse on a multiplexed 206 is for the engine ecu & also the auto gearbox.

Not that fuse, I was the fuse for the fuel pump. but every couple of weeks I had to change the fuse box. Sold the car as soon as I found the problem. Don't know what caused it, but the fuses kept corroding, looked like an electrical problem.

Check where the fuse sits, see what the connections look like. Could also look at a couple of other fuses, check there condition. there's 2 fuses for the BSI. Mine was probably a problem related to that car, so don't worry!
