So last year i bought my second car after my wee mk3 Golf 1.6 started falling apart and after i lost first gear completely I decided it was time to pass it on.

wasn't too bad for buying it in auction for £284 (£84 of that was commission) and then selling it 5 months later without first gear for £200 Smile

so anyway I went on and bought my first French car, the modifications that came with it when i bought it was that the previous owner and stuck Gti bumpers on it and petrol cap. It also came with a wolf racing alloys that where curbed as hell and a back box that someone did a botch jump welding it on.

Loved the look of 206's but always wanted to modify them as slight modifications make them look nice and mean, which is the look i want to go for.

couple weeks after i bought the car the clutch went, had a friend with a garage change the clutch for me but when he went to change the gearbox oil it came out silver. found out that the fork had smashed right through the plate and part had got into the gearbox and grinded away inside of it. Sad was not the best thing to happen after just buying the car.

After getting the car back and working it wasn't long before something else went wrong, one bit after another the exhaust started breaking, lost 2 down pipes in 3 months Sad after a few months i then had to actually change the whole exhaust system and after having the previous owner destroying the rear bumper to fit their exhaust on it left me with a massive gap.

money was extremely tight for a while after this so wasn't much progress in the car.
Had been watching the scrapyard website near me to watch for any good 206's popping up as i was wanting to modify it a bit and mainly wanted to wrap my bonnet but at that time i didn't know much about where to get anything like this done. (wasn't an active member here at the time). A nice black slightly modified 206 appeared so went up to have a look as i also was going to go to get a new bonnet as mine started to rust and had a couple small annoying dents.
Couldn't find any china blue bonnets but decided to get the black one of this as in my opinion it was close to the carbon wrapped bonnet look i wanted.
So i went in for new bonnet and came back with
bonnet
rgm replica vent
black tinted lexus lights
badgeless grill

got them on the car and it was starting to look more the way i wanted it to go

not long after this my girlfriend got my car windows tinted, went for the limo tints as dark smoke wasn't much different and thought why not get limo tints.

Thought the back looked a bit too plain so stuck few wee comical stickers on it

The car was starting to look good but i noticed there was a lot of stone chips on the front bumper and for some reason the bottom black grill started to flake and had giant yellow chunks on it so out came the sandpaper and paint. just sat and did it in my car park, took a lot longer than i thought it would.

yet again ran outta money haha, missed the sound of my exhaust so decided to get new back box and got one off a member here, was suppose to be a magnex 3.5" oval stainless steel exhaust but when it arrived it definately wasn't. Also was fed up having plain frosted front lights so went for Black angels until i could afford to stick a set of morrettes on it. Was a nice day and was out shopping with the Girlfriend and just so happened i had washed the car the day before so up to the top the car park for some pictures for me it was

The exhaust didn't seem to sit right so another exhaust it was for me, got a JapCan style big bore exhaust worth £180 and a new piper cross induction kit worth £100 of a guy on gumtree with my haggling skills for £90 BARGIN! Very Happy also recently got a phase two boot strip and have debadged the rear and is looking great (except for cut out section still there around the exhaust)

got loads of plans for the car, hopefully in the next week i shall be picking up new set of alloys as i find my 15" too small and also pick up new set of front lights as one of my halos is starting to fade and another one have come loose of its casing.

The cut out bumper must be so annoying haha, try get one from a scrappy, you painted the front up nicely so could probably just but any colour rear bumper and respray it!

so i've got a new set off alloys, always felt my 15" are to small and everyone seems to complain about the height of 17" with standard suspension so decided to go for 16" just need to get a couple new tyres on them and they'll be on. in the mean time they're in the back the car haha. always buckle up Wink

My splitter arrived last week but i haven't had anytime to get it on and the weather hasn't been nice enough to do it when i am free Sad
