I was driving and all of a sudden, this happened.
All the lights in the dash are flashing, otherwice the car is working, engine running etc... Funny this is, it won't stop when I remove the key. Soft reseting the BSI wont help, when I turn the ignition, I hear the relay click from the cluster and all the lights start flashing again.
These are the fault codes I found. No faults in BSI or Comms unit. Last week I removed the center console but didn't touch any of the wiring, maybe I should check the earth connection? Engine ECU faults are new, haven't seen those before, any help on those?
On a side not, Im also getting CD Changer not found fault in MFD even after using the remove CD Changer fuction, is there a way to get rid of it?

Ok, I'll check it out, but wouldn't this affect the engine?. Like I said I removed the center console last week to fit USB header behind the ash tray. Under the ash tray was the airbag ecu and what looked like earth connection. I didn't touch the wires but while fitting the console back, they may have moved. Is this the earth connector for the instrument cluster? Is there more?

I had that issue occurring intermittently on mine before. As well as passenger airbag being deactivated. After trying a bunch of things, I decided to swap the battery even though it checked out fine with a multi meter. Changing the battery seemed to resolved the issue and it never came back *touch wood*. Worth looking into perhaps?

Cleaned earth connections and checked all the fuses. It did it again when I opened the passenger door. It's been sitting in heated garage for over 24h. Battery is only a year old and measured 12.5V.

Dials start flashing pretty much every time I open doors or use the remote. I think it's the BSI, broken instrument cluster wouldn't be affected by the doors or remote, right? Is there a chance a BSI update would fix this? Or should I just start looking for a new ECU, BSI and key fob?

Just a small follow-up. I had the BSI updated at local pug dealer and it's been running problem free since monday. Well worth the 45€!
