hi, i do not think my standard alarm is operational, i checked the fuses and the button inside but still nothing. is this a take it to peugeot problem or has anyone else had this problem.
and for the auto wipers, the auto lights come on fine but the auto wipers dont, is there a seperate on/off fuction or do i need a new sensor.
any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You need to move the wiper stalk to the AUTO position every time you want the wipers to be in automatic mode.
Once the ignition is switched OFF it cancels the auto wipers.
As for the alarm, press the lock button on the remote fob ONCE only, this will set the deadlocks & arm the alarm system.
Pressing the lock button a 2nd time within 5 seconds actually cancels the alarm & also the deadlocks.
It sounds to me you are running an earlier BSI software package.

Do you understand what the button inside does? Have you tried locking the car whilst your sat inside. Mine can take upto a minute to arm itself.

If you hold the button behind the handbrake, its turns off the alarm. With the ignition off the alarm light on the centre dash should flash.
you shouldnt be able to open the doors from the inside, if you lock the car with the fob once.

Unless it's been back to a Peugeot main dealer & had the BSI software updated since its been registered it WONT be running the latest software
My 03 plate car is running 2007 BSI software.

A new pair of ultrasonic sensors is only £28.10 including the VAT from any Peugeot main dealer.
There simple plug & play BUT be warned the brown plug under the dash is a swine to unplug, the cable runs up the drivers A pillar behind the trim & across the roof behind the headlining panel to the passenger side for the 2nd sensor.
While your at the dealer buying the ultrasonic's you can ask how much they charge for a software update.
