So i still haven't managed to fix this problem yet (http://206info.co.uk/Forums/viewtopic/t=52199.html)
the problem is that when im driving along, put the clutch pedal down, change gear, then the engine just cuts out with the anti-pollution fault warning, so i put peugeot planet on it and it came up with the pedal sensor
I changed the sensor for a new one from peugeot and it still seems to be doing it!
So i had a play around before, stopped and parked up with the handbrake on and with the clutch pedal down... i flicked the gearstick between positions and the engine revs would flutter, and the quicker i done it the worse it got until it cut off.
Also it happens when i go from 2nd to first slowly
I am a bit stuck tbh now, just hoping its not the clutch going?!

Vehicle model? Not an auto i take it as youve mentioned clutch
You will probably need to recalibrate the pedal sensor, you need diag2000 for that as PP2000 is too new

fixed it now!
it had cleared the pedal sensor fault but flagged up 2 faults involving the high pressure fuel system. So i took the air box and piping out and checked along the lines for any splits, hole or loose connections but there was none, checked the fuel pressure sensor and the connection had worked loose so i gave it a wipe over and put it all back together et voila! i can drive again, bosch!
on the downside i found a split turbo pipe, boo

I know you're talking about anti-pollution and pedal sensors but a friends VW Golf used to cut out when changing gear.
We cleaned/replaced the air filter and cleaned the throttlebody, butterfly thingy was sticking when he was coming off the gas and i guess it was closing and starving the engine of oxygen. Anyway, it worked

A diesel car does not use the butterfly like a petrol. The last post is a complete misdirection.
