actually I had 3 different mods on my old gti which as far as I know no other info member had done at the time
alcantara trimmed dash display cover
painted glovebox lid
a janspeed cat back system made to fit the gti 180 but had it fit a ph1 gti

Ground the old top loops which I'd painted in red off and welding the new red straps in their original positions. Rear one was the same again.
