Hi All,

Another question.

With my Wife's BMW 6 series convertible I carried out a modification using kit from the US to make the roof one touch up and down from inside and 2 sec on remote for all five windows up or down, 5 sec on remote for the roof up or down.

Is there something similar available for a 2003 CC that anyone has tried or is aware of.

Thanks for your advice.

Best regards

Chris

Seems the German cars are well covered with stuff like this. I looked for this on our old 207CC but they didnt do it for that. Can't imagine the 206 CC having it because it's not 100% automatic.

Hi Edward,

Thanks for the comment.

The 6 series was not automatic either. It drove me nuts having to hold the button to get the roof up and down. It can now safely be used up to 35 mph with one touch up or down. The design of how the roof works means there is never a situation where the roof would balloon up with air pressure.

I will dig out the company information from where I bought the BMW one and see if they do it.

Best regards

Chris

Here is the Smart Top for the BMW in case anybody is interested:

They don't appear to do one for any Peugeot!

Peugeot are a bit behind the time's with the CC's.

The fitting of an ultrasonic alarm on a cabriolet just proves that point.

When I said automatic I meant the 207 just needs the windows lowering and then the roof button an be used. The 206 has the manual levers at the front of the roof to unhook it from the screen.

Im actually very impressed for once Thumb Up

A very professional plug & play bit of kit, just reading the fitting & programming instructions shows someone has done a bloody good job to design something to work on a CAN system.

Wonder if they could get a signal from the rain sensor to automatically shut the roof & windows with a bit of software fiddling?
