As the title says, all of a sudden the backlight for the buttons on the climate control has stopped working. The light on the screen itself is fine. I thought it could be bulb but they do have each individual bulbs so surely this isn't it.. any thoughts?

Have you tried the fuses under the steering wheel column could be one of those?

No because something else would fail also ? Surely there wouldn't be a fuse just for that.

Nothing will fail if the car is off. There might not be, but as it's simple enough to check you might as well start there.

Fuses are fine, it was actually the bulb. Good news I swapped the bulbs now the light works but bad news it made it worce because the climate control don't come off now even with the key out...! Also the screen don't dim with the main lights. Just because I changed the bulb!  It only turns off when the BSI sleeps, lets hope this issue disappears by the morning.

Yes 3 bulbs, 2 for screen and 1 for buttons.
