Hi, I have a 2001 1.4 lx petrol 206 and the part number on my head is 9634005110. I have brought another head to rebuild has mine is leaking oil at head gasket slightly, its got the same part number but was removed from a 2005 1.4 c3.
On putting my inlet gasket on from my gasket kit, it does not line up proper, can anyone tell me if i have the wrong head or wrong gasket set.
Thanks

different years of TU engine had different inlet port spacing. early models had 00-00 spacing while later models had 0-0-0-0. also the TU engine often has leaks, its not that much of an issue

Why buy a replacement head?
If the original one is sound just get it skimmed & refit it.

The reason i did not do the original head is because i use the car daily and can not have it off the road long. I saw this head off ebay and its been skimmed but never put back on car and was cheap .
My plan was to reground the valves and port the exhaust and inlet to match the gbaskets

On a metal manifold the inlets tend to use the stuff that resembles cardboard.

Not got a clue then, there is some rubber rings in the kit too, would that be the inlet gaskets and perhaps the kit comes with two different types of exhaust gaskets .

Rubber rings tend to be for plastic inlet gaskets.

This is a picture of my other gasket, the bottom gasket fits the exhaust manifold fine, not sure if both gaskets are for exhaust manifold and the kit comes with 2 to cover other type.
My inlet manifold is plastic, been told that this head is for a plastic inlet manifold but there are 2 types of plastic inlet manifolds.
This is the inlet side of head, bearing in mind the head is upside down, if anyone can help.

Head is on and all fitted well and runs great, the kit came with 2 different exhaust gaskets . The injectors are little noisy but i have just brought 4 brand new ones waiting to put in when i have the time. Car seems to be better on fuel now, headgasket was well gone.

Mate...
It is NEVER the injectors.
It's always the valves that need adjusting carefully and repeatedly over 1000 miles or so.
Then you'll be cooking.
