Ive seen on some models that under the bonnet vent, that leads to the cabin filter, there is a plastic cover which sits around the strut mount. It is not the top mount cover.
Looked for a part number and cant find it, anyone got one spare? Im sure my 2003 hdi had one, my 54 gti hasn't, will try and find a pic.

Have a look in the scrappy more than likely one of 206s there will have one
