Ok, so I've bought a Cat D Peugeot 206. See the link my car and pictures

So I pretty much have to replace the whole of the suspension. One problem I have though, what size sway bar Do I need for my Peugeot 206 1.4 Verve?

On this Ebay advert sway bars It says please state whether you have an 18mm, 20mm or 22mm sway bar.

Can anybody help me? I don't know which size I need.

Many thanks

I have a 1.4 16v and have been told the GTI HDI anti roll bar will fit a 1.4 and it is uprated compared to the std. Obviously this does not answer your question. But worth thinking about putting a better one on as the job needs doing anyway??

Hi there. Yes, I'm considering upgrading the suspension as it's all coming out. These sway bars aren't exactly in plentiful supply are they? I can only see Euro car parts selling them and they're over 200 quid.

Definitely going to a breaker for this part!

We don't or certainly didn't used to. I always think of "sway bar" as an American expression all mechanics I know still refer to them as "anti roll" bars.
Morris 1000, Austin 1100, Escort Mk2, Fiat Mirafiori, Alfa 33, Alfa GT Junior, Alfasud, Alfetta GTV (2x), Alfa 164 3.0 V6, Alfa 164 2.0, Alfa 75 V6, Alfa 156 2.4 (diesel remapped 200bhp), Alfa 147 GTA (3.6 295bhp), Alfa 159 (diesel remapped 245bhp 300ft.lbs @ 2500rpm)
