Ah electrical problems! Sounds like my car. It has been going mad! Continuous beeps random beeps random warning lights. The radio staying on etc etc.

Seems ok now. I replaced the gearbox earth strap / negative battery cable. Cleaned the two earth points behind the headlights, and rebooted the BSI.

Have you done any of these things? Also do you have any aftermarket electrics? Or have you changed anything electrical recently?

Also may be worth having the codes read if you have not done already?

No I haven't done any checks yet. And have only changed the rear lights around 2 weeks ago.

Try rebooting the BSI and check the earth straps for corrosion

Check out the BSI guide on the beginners thread.

It's basically a correct battery disconnect and reconnect procedure

I think that you have a problem with your car alternator, maybe it's over charging like have 16 Volts instead of 14 Volts,or poor charging like having 8 Volts, both cases cause such a problem.

Get a Multimeter, start the car, while you measure the battery, and see how many volts you have,it's an easy start, only take few min.
