Depends on the quality of the stuff (and its adhesive) you put down, as well as how well you cleaned the surfaces and how well you 'worked' it down...

Poor enough prep-work and/or adhesive makes it easier, but if done well it's bound to be a PITA...

A plastic ice scraper (I prefer the simple rectangular piece of plexiglass(acrylic plastic) might get you down to just above the glue layer, then use chemicals to get that. Be careful about damaging the paintwork.

Why would you want to remove it?

Which kind proofing. Factory sound proofing removing very hard without using dry ice. Becareful when using dry ice and dont touch without gloves or naked hand. Aftermarket proofing can be removed by heat gun. We cant remove 20 year old Nissan factory sound proof dry ice but when removing sound proof from Peugeot 106 with 10 year old only thing we need heat gun and flat spatula.

Does the 106 even have sound proofing? I've literally stripped one today and I couldn't find any. However I did put some sound deadening on.

If its applied properly with a heat gun on a clean surface, it is a total pain in the a*** to remove.

option b is to just get some acustic carpet to cover the sound proofing and make some hardboard door cards and carpet them
