after looking about I went with ebc turbo discs and green stuff pads . has anybody used this combo ?

not on a 206 but tried that set up on a scoob and tbh i chucked them in the bin after a week !!!!!
found them no better than standerd disc's and had the pads on fire after 20 mins of hard road use.
on my 180 i have just got cheap mintex disc's and pads and i find them fine for the car. ok for track use yes i would want better pads to withstand the heat but not for road work.

I've got mintex all around on my 138, and initially they did have a good bite to them, but now a couple of miles of fast road use and they really do not like the punishment, good for the first few corners then start to feel worse and worse the more you push on.

mine have been on for 10k and yes they have lost the bite they did have but they have been used hard
tbh for road use i think the 180 brakes are quite good as standerd, drive a standerd scoob wrx to know how bad brakes can be lol lol

Mine have done a fair few miles and not treated gently at all. They still stop the car, it's just the talk back through the pedal isn't quite how i'd like it.
Lol, mine feel terrible if I ever drive my dad's Evo 8. Huge brembo's all around on that thing, and unlike the 206 the pedal bites even if you just look at it. I'm so used to the slight bit of play the 206 pedal has before it begins to bite I always end up nearly putting myself through the windscreen in the Evo.

lol yeah the scoob sti's use the brembo set up and as you say they are nice but standerd wrx are just 4 pots and there are god awful,in fact my first scoob was a 92 import and that used the same set up a the 1.6 justy pickup so that was fun when pushing on lol lol

Oh I bet. It's always a good thing to have decent brakes when pushing on. A friend of my dad's wrote off a car in the 80's doing something stupid. Cant remember what the car was, but it was something like a poverty spec 1.6 cheap as chips thing. Possibly a cavalier or something like that. But my dad had a played with 2Litre Lotus Carlton engine sat in his garage doing nothing for a little while. So his mate asked could he try it in his car. My dad agreed and off it went.
About a week later he get's a phone call to say he'd written the car off going into a bend. The idiot had only left it on the standard 1.6 suspension and brakes
