Hi all
Made a few new modifications to the car in the last couple of weeks. First of all i got a colour coded boot strip and debadged the rear:
Before:
After:
Then i removed the black vinyl from the door pillars:
Bit of colour coding on the interior - want to do the vents and door handles etc next:
Sprayed the front badge in Ford Graphite Grey, which is the colour im going to spray my GTI alloys:
I then came across a tint film from SPI Vision, which is very similar to fly eye, so thought i would give it a go on the front lights and fogs. What do you think?
Before:
After:
Future plans are to change the horrible lower grill on the front, bit more colour coding inside, and get the GTI alloys sprayed up.
Comments and thoughts welcome

I have my 17 inch GTI alloys in the garage, just need some new rubber and spraying. Also have a spare set of black plastic bumper moulds that i want to attempt to colour code and change, but not sure how they come off yet lol.
Also need to purchase a new lower grill for the front, as i hate the silver one on it! Just not confident in taking the bumper off to change it lol

You need to remove the bumper in order to remove the black inserts and even then they are not the easiest things to remove.
Have a look at the how to guide on it. From memory its 1 bolt either side of the bumper under the headlight and 3 at the front and 2 under neath.. and dont forget to remove the arch liners too!

I like it, but the only thing I'd change, personally, is change the frosted headlights to crystal IMO, but other than that it's going well

Thanks. Now the headlights are tinted though, i dont think you can tell if they are frosted or crystal unless you have a real close look.

Dont you have to change the wings to accommodate sport bumpers?
