Hi All,

My MIL light came on this morning, followed by an anti polution fault warning on the dash Crying or Very sad

I stuck my cheapo fault code reader on it, and it came back with the following faults:

P0341
P0225
P1153

The car seems to be driving ok, and doesn't feel like it's running particularly badly.
The only possible symptom is that it sometimes has a surging/pulsating idle for a couple of minutes after a cold start. It's been doing that for some time now though, so I don't know if it's related to the faults or not...

Any ideas what could be causing the faults?

Thanks,

well MrBSI,lazy or not,we are gonna help him, right? :),it would be more helpful to have the car year and model so that we can help you more.

About the faults you have, the 3rd one is related to the oxygen sensor heater circuit,so you need to replace your oxygen sensor, about the middle fault,it's related to the MIL light in the dash, and the first one is for having a problem with coil pack,or spark plugs.

Yeah, really couldn't be ar5ed... Rolling Eyes

I looked up the standard descriptions for those codes. However they seemed to be a bit unrelated to each other to me and I know some manufactuers don't always use codes for their standard purpose so I left them off my original post to avoid throwing up any red herrings.

This is what I think they mean (but I don't know if that's what Peugeot thinks they mean!):

P0225 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "C" Circuit
P0341 Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance
P1153 Bank 2 Fuel control shifted lean.

Seems odd that I got a pedal fault at exactly the same time as a camshaft position sensor?

Ooh, a few replies popped up whilst I was typing that last bit.

The car's a 2004 GTI (136 bhp version).

Now I'm slightly confused as macca came up with the same list as me, but Timon seems to think they mean something else! Confused
