Hi all,

I am considering re-establishing the "PEUGEOT", "206", and "LX" badges on my motor. I bought the car with the badges already removed. I am purchasing the relevant badges in the next week.

Just wondering if anybody can give me some guidance or instructions on how to do this so that they are in the right place and aligned correctly? The badges are adhesive.

I know having/not having the bages is a personal preference, but IMO I woild prefer to have them Smile

Cheers.

the only method i can think off is using paper tape that don't leave a mark on paint, and make sure it's straight,so that you can use it as a base, and I can measure you the distance from the boot edges so that you have the right distance. Smile

What He Said

Use frog tape. Peels off easily. I used it when I did my red rear lion.

Not too sure that if you buy the badges new, they come with adhesive tape already on them, failing that 3M body moulding tape although that can be a bit thick on the foam part.
I used to use a double sided tape that was more like a thin gel, and it was like superglue on a roll. Can't remember the name of it, but it had a yellow backing paper. The rolls I had were about 10mm and 25mm wide. Ideal for most things including re-sticking interior mirrors

Hi Jay, welcome to the site I'm new myself so trying to get a big of help out when I know what I'm talking about!

For badges I'd recommend you buy with 'Opelise' on eBay. I recently bought a 206 with an LX badge missing and used them to get a new one.

The badge came in a few days, completely new with the adhesive tape on them ready to be stuck down, with further instructions available on their eBay page.

Heres a link to the badge I bough ( www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180...1439.l2649 )

Best of luck with it all

If you're not making mistakes, you're not taking risks, and that means you're not going anywhere. The key is to make mistakes faster than the competition, so you have more changes to learn and win.

Funny you say that; A couple of hours ago I had a look on ebay and bought the badges I needed from 'Opelise'!! Looked like a good deal, and that fact they were adhesive stickers was a bonus. Great minds think alike Wink
