Ape - I love it too much! Would love an S2000 but they cost more in every department and I'm not sure I really want to be in that situation.

Uz - thanks man! There are a couple of updates actually, rear arches are rolled, although the guy has done a half arsed job Sad . My FK rear springs are now on after about 3 months of waiting for them to show up from Germany, which got the rear end a bit lower, and I've lowered the front slightly to match. Chassis notch should be happening soon. Might try a bit more camber on the rear.

Looks clean.

Why does I look Matte in the pics?

Also, the second from last looks like you have a hole in the bumper, assuming its the camera?

A few people have said it looks matte. I asked her about it and she said it's the way she's edited out the reflections, and probably the stone chips etc. She asked me if I wanted her to edit them again in a different way but I'm not too fussed as I know her and she's done the pictures for free so it's all a bonus to me. I think it's the first time she's photographed a car in the studio, she's done more shoots of bands and other musical artists at live music events, and more recently had a shoot with model Kelly Smith who was recently in Fast Car magazine and on the TV programme Love Machine. She said she enjoyed shooting my car though and would like to do more automotive shoots in future.

The 'hole' in the bumper is the plastic cap for the headlight washers (xenons).

So, I've been saving, and on the look out for split rims. Almost bought some OZ Turbo's which didn't quite happen, and then I spotted these and snapped them up...

Split them...

Had barrels and centres powdercoated, and the hex nuts polished...

Old lip laid on top just to see how it looked...

And now I'm broke, so it's back to saving again. The plan is to buy new stainless steel dishes, new stainless steel bolts, and then put them back together. Going for a staggered setup, 15x7.5 front and 15x8 rears, 165/50 tyres all round.

Cheers guys, so pleased with how they turned out. I also lowered it more when I put the wheels on, and I'm getting barely any rubbing now either, and it's no worse with grounding the front bumper over speed bumps, somehow. No more ripping my tyre sidewalls to shreds, much nicer to drive!
