Okay so I was over looking on some of the threads lately and came across one about their wingmirrors automatically folding when car is locked and made me wonder, why doesn't mine do this Confused Is there a way that I can make mine do this?
Also interior mirror,if I remember correctly someone fitted a different one to their 206...what model was this and what's the advantages?

Cheers guys

You have to install gti 180 or gt mirrors iirc with the switch and the wiring. I was going to do it but the hassle of doing it stopped me as there only small and unlikely to be hit

Regarding rear view mirror. I have fitted a 406 v8 electric dimming mirror, it is an excellent mod.

The wing mirrors you are talking about are the gti 180 folding ones. But first you need to identify what loom u have. A lot of th gti and xsi have the loom already there so that they are plug and play,

If not you can still modify the harness for them to fold in, but again it will only be able to fold in from the switch.

Cheers for reply buddy...could you tell me why exactly the interior mirror is such a good mod?

Also as far as im aware i have the standard 180 wing mirrors on but how would I know what loom I have on them and then able to 'plug in and play'?

Where would I find the wires or loom for my wing mirrors to know?

Hope this helps out with the thread.

I believe Benny180 has a 180, so he has 180 wing mirrors and wiring loom, as well as a 180 mirror switch (fold at the bottom) which I can only assume works.
What I think he is asking is how to make the mirrors fold when he locks the car.
I think this can be done on later models (54 onwards) with a tweak with Peugeot planet.

Can also be done if your good with electrics/wiring

Easiest & cheapest option is:

Turn the mirror knob to fold the mirrors in

Remove ignition key & open door

Turn mirror knob back to normal position & next time ignition is switched on they will unfold.
