Yepp.. wet flatting first, and doing a bit of bodywork where needed, and priming bit that need to be primed

Surprised you haven't done more smoothing since you appear to have the skills to do so and you are doing a full re-spray anyway, finish does look good though!

i'm not amazing at bodywork, plus its being used as a family car too. so dont want to do too much custom work to it

was a bit bored of spraying white... so decided to smarten up a few bits
Started off by dismantling the mirror unit and the painted it black
 


also painted the roof strips and side repeaters black
 


 


awaiting more white paint now

Almost forgot, the petrol cap finally arrived so i was able to paint that up and the rear quarter

sorted an ongoing misfire the other day... after lots of research into misfiring, i found absolutely no good advice.. as the previous owner had recently replaced the coilpack, i thought straight away "injectors"...

but which one.. i presumed injector 3 was the issue, and previous owner then verified a mechanic told him the same.
so i stripped the engine of the coilpack, then unbolted the fuel rail to find it was injector 2.. so after a ball ache of a job getting it all back together, the car now runs like a dream

You do know that injector 4 is the timing belt end. It's a French thing just to confuse everyone.
