Just on my way home and was followed by cops went to indicate to turn and indicators wernt working but it's clicking away when I indicate

Get a multi meter on the bulb connectors. That way you can identify if its a faulty bulb that may not look blown or the power to the bulb.

Have you checked all the fuses, including the maxi fuses?
6 bulbs blowing at once would be very unlikely since under normal conditions they operate as a bank of 3 (near and off side) and pretty sure each bulb gets a different feed from the BSI.
