On a 2.0 HDi 90 with AC and manual mirrors: Taking the glass out reveals the following three wires that have been 'cut' behind where the glass sits. What are these for? The two black connectors for the heated mirror can be seen in the lower right of the first picture. The connector that plugs into the car is in the second picture.
Also is there suppossed to be a temperature sensor for the AC here as well?

The passanger side mirror is where the outside temperaure sensor is (underneath the mirror)
And the three wires are presumably for the the electric motors, which your's is not fitted with.
Don't know where you got the AC idea.

Not sure why I thought the temp sensor was on the drivers side. After reading your post I can see the little bump underneath the passanger mirror - never noticed that before.

It would be easier to buy electric mirrors than trying to convert them.
