Been looking around and everyone seems to have a different opinion on what to use. 5W30 or 5W40?
The handbook says 'Do NOT use synthetic based oils for this engine' but a lot of people seem to disagree.
Any help is appreciated.

Cheers - am I right in thinking Peugeot recommend Total's stuff?

When I changed gearbox oil the first time, It was the right stuff but from another brand and I got problems engaging 1st and 2nd gear. Switched to Total and never had problems again.
