Cars running rough intermittently and have bought a bluetooth code reader off ebay and its putting out error code P0351 and also P0011 although I'm pretty sure the P0011 relates to when my cambelt was fitten roughly last year.

Have also used the reader to track the voltage of the lambda sensor and it was all over the place. Have booked the car in at the garage tomorrow and hope this is all it is.

Anybody else have experience with other things this would be?

Thanks

- Faulty Ignition Coil 1
- Ignition Coil 1 harness is open or shorted
- Ignition Coil 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

P0011 - Camshaft Position 'A' Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance Bank 1

Surely if the VVT was a problem then it would run s**t all the time. I'm pretty certain the only problem with the car is the P0351 code as that is what is most likely linked to the anti pollution fault. It also only runs rough when the antipollution fault comes on when driving. Will see what the garage says tomorrow. Car is turning into a money pit might be time to get rid.

I had P0011 on mine a couple of years back, changed the VVT Solenoid and never had any problems since. About £70-80 IIRC.

Have you had the cambelt changed?

b******s. In your "had a bad idea" thread is the real photo and the colour of your car is nothing like that above. Crap camara or not. You have adjusted the colour that much you've turned a green tree red.

I cleared the codes and only the P0351 came back. I also did a volt test on the lambda sensor and most the time it was showing 0 then every now and again went to 0.1 so i think that might be the problem. I don't think its the cat which it apparently can be as you can smell it working at the exhaust.

It could be the coil pack I suppose although i've seen a lot on google of people with this problem and replacing the coil pack didn't fix it.
