Is there a chemical that can be used on plastic/ABS parts that need a more thorough strip than just sanding? I have some parts that need taking right back to bare plastic due to paintwork reactions and too many layers, I'm hoping that someone with paintshop experience can offer some advice

Cheers
Andrew

personally wouldnt of thought it would be needed, just have a good prep sand down with 800 grit, spray it in primer then wet and dry 1200 grit, should be enough really

Regular sanding wasn't enough, way too much to strip back.

In the end had to persevere wiping at it with a rag lightly soaked in cellulose thinners, leave to dry overnight and then sand with 320, just putting this on here in case someone finds themself in the same position
