[quote="harry206"]This is just a little starter to my 1.1 52 plate 206, it is my first car and at 17 and i just want to make it my own, im not a boy racer and certainly not the type to sit around mcdonalds of a friday night haha. Just wanting to do a little to clean it up and show a few of my ideas. My car from stock, well... cleaned and waxed:)

Yes my mothers 2 litre Astra GTC in the background, one day i will drive it...
Whilst learning a few weeks before my test my cambelt snapped bending the 4 valves, 200 pound later and abit of sweet talking to my brother she was back to new having had the engine stripped, cleaned and rebuilt.

Time for a new stereo, for now just to get by I ordered a sony xplod of the web, id give it 5 star rating for value as it sounds really good, for the price of £35 you cannot go wrong.
A month into my driving it was time to explore, i won some alloys on the trusty old ebay, and drove 120 miles away to pick them up, very very happy with the car on the motorway, cost me £60 there and back and left me with over 1/4 a tank. These are the wheels, wanting to refurb as they have abit of curbing and wanting to give them a fresh new colour. Done resprays before so in the process of re doing myself... Sanding out the curbing and getting rid of the paint evenly is a time consumer but this should give me the best result.
Spraying these a matt white, maybe red calipers to top of the front..

Found a gash in the side of the tyre and then also a nail. After re doing the wheels ll have it replaced and all the wheels re balanced. Now awaiting pay day to get some 20mm hub centric spacers with the longer wheel bolts. Costly but better than the shim rubbish...
Looking back on the bay i came across a pair of new 40mm lowering springs. 99p start with no reserve i later on picked them up for £11.50, retailing at £70 im happy with that. Now awaiting my brother to return home from college next week so he can change them over and adjust the torsion bar.

Only a little shopping list to finish, my future plans over the next few months hopefully ready for the new year at a new college in september, advice appreciated.
- Crystal front lights of a gti
- Gti front bumper
- Bosch Aerotwin wipers
- 20mm spacers and extended wheel bolts
Should be it for a while and yes my insurance has been notified about my alloys and suspension:) Will get some pictures up of the alloys when done and when they are on after it has been lowered, cheers guys.
Wheels have been sprayed up!! and the front springs on..
The springs were a b**** to do, having the driveshaft come out and oil going everywhere i finally got them done! Id done these a few weeks ago but just been enjoying driving it but have finally found the time to update my post to show you guys.. The back will be lowered around 20-30mm soon but right now i like the way it sits so its not a must do.. The alloys and new springs feel so much more responsive and nicer to drive! Also picked up a set of new 20mm spacers with extended bolts on ebay for £20! Getting so lucky at these good deals..
finally a few pictures!
