Hello,
I have a 2.0 3 door 206 GTI 52 plate and yesterday the central locking started playing up. I can lock the doors with key (unable to open tailgate though) and when I press the big button on remote the indicators flash as usual but doors don't lock/unlock. When I press the smaller button on remote the indicators flash and I can hear a click but that's about it. Boot is locked but unable to unlock.
Red locking button in car has not worked since I bought car in May 2013.
I have spent few hours searching the forum but cannot find a problem similar to mine.
I have today disconnected battery for hour and a half but locking still same.
