Buy a Haynes manual. No perfect for some of the advanced stuff but really good for stuff like this. It also saves waiting for the replies. you might not think this is helpful but a manual is a really good starter.
Having said the above the Haynes (I have one) doesn't specifically state where this relay is! I would still buy one though.

I'd check the indicator stalk first, there known for filling up with swarf / shorting out on the non plexed 206's.
If not then it will be 1 of the relays inside the BSI that controls the indicators, there soldered to a printed circuit board so the options are:
1) Replace the BSI unit.
2) Send the BSI unit of for repair.
3) If your brave with a soldering iron replace the relays your self BUT NOTE if you damage the BSI unit in the process you wont be able to start the car!

MrBSI. My daughter's indicator stalk had the problem that you describe but that won't leave the indicator permanently on. The only thing that does is leave it on but flashing and make it hard to cancel or find the central point.
I think the description of the OP is that it is not flashing which would suggest relay. If it is none BSI where is the relay for the flashers?

Yours sounds like the comms unit is worn/f****d barrett.
To the owner of the thread, check your earths but it will.more than likely be the stalk causing a poor permanent contact

not the stalk as i took it out and tried to check for swarf etc, but all the springs and little plasticy bits exploded when i opened it. still it just stays on orange without the stalk in. getting really p**sed off with this car. must either be relay or bsi. is it easiest to replace the whole bsi unit? ive looked at replacing the relay but its solded into the bsi.

A new non plexed BSI is £398.10 from Peugeot just for the part.
You could always send your original BSI unit of for repair.

Addaz: No, my daughters is none plex. The issue was inside the actual indicator switch itself. It was full of copper fillings from the contact slider. I removed the indicator stalk, took apart the switch, cleaned, lubed and reassembled and worked perfectly for another two years until it was sold and still perfect then. It is a common(ish) problem on none plex.

Rellay is in the BSI and very difficult to replace.
Assuming it's the whole left-side permanently-on, your best bet is BBA reman for repair.

ive managed to take out the bsi board. In the deruiter.jp/index.php?...b=Projects guide it says you have to desolder and resolder new relays. However finding the right relay is a bit misleading at the end of the guide. I can only source the FBR51ND12-W1 relay in the UK and not the FBR51ND10-N as used in the successful experiment. Are these the same relay?. Plus i assume you have to solder the new relays back onto the PCB or do they not just click in? Who is this Mr BBA guy? Ta Im in 2 minds of wether to buy the soldering equipment (£20) and do it myself or to send it off to someone.
