The volume of fuel you put in would be more useful than what you pay. Fuel prices within 5 miles of me range from 132.7 to 137.9
From a quick calculation yes your consumption is crap. I worked it out to be approx 18 mpg. Autos use more fuel normally, but shouldn't double the consumption.

A TU3 engine with the w**ky AL4 box attached trying to drag around 1 ton of weight is never going to return good fuel consumption figures especially trundling around town.

Unfortunately you will get mindless replies like that one, and many more, on this site as people often post before they engage their brains.

140.9 a litre for Tesco Momentum cost me £72 to brim my tank from the bottom reserve light. Tank gives me 280-320 mile with a Typhoon induction and Janspeed Induction.
I drive a 180 I feel wounded with that sort of mileage return.

Is that not due to the extra weight from the audio install?

The audio hasn't effected it at all... was giving me the same MPG when I bought it as standard as it is now.
A bass tube and 2 amps isn't exactly going to make the world of difference though seeing as they weight pretty much the same as a spare tyre and the cage.

Have you had a code reader on the car? Any dash lights on? Has the mpg dropped recently, or has it always been low? Have you changed anything recently?
