Does anyone have a how-to/guidance on changing the head gasket of a 1.4 16v sport (ET3J4)?

Would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Does anyone know what size/type of socket to use on the head gasket bolts? They are a 6 pointed star shape.

If you can't spot a torx head on a bolt you're out of your depth doing a head gasket change. I would guess you don't have a torque wrench either?

You need to change the bolts as there stretch type i.e. you can only use them once.

Question for re-assembly:

The haines manual gives the inlet sprocket retaining bolt torque as:
stage 1 = 20Nm
stage 2 = 60Nm

What is the procedure for tightening a single bolt in two stages?

There doesnt appear to be any specific reference to the two torques in the manual as there was for the head gasket bolts for instance.
