Recently MOTd car with 4 advisories, none which included the headlights. I fitted some of those good Phillips headlight bulbs. The car is a 2000 1.4 LX. The dipped beam seems to be concentrated on the road directly in front of the car, when compared to other cars on dipped they give more view of the road ahead. It's quite annoying on unexpected corners! I've tried to adjust using the little white plastic screw but they haven't moved. Could do with lifting them slightly any ideas? I've refitted them twice to double check they're fitted correctly. I don't feel I'm getting the full benefit of a 30 quid pair of bulbs !

And are the bulbs in the right way up?!? Sounds silly, but it is possible to insert them the wrong way up!
Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

Yeah the auto adjuster is all the way up! Gazza I've checked twice now that the lugs are properly aligned with the 3 recesses, the bulbs are seated correctly.

Tsotd do you mean the headlight lenses themselves? They are frosted if I understand you correctly!

Thanks lads
