Check for corroded terminals in the bulb holders themselves.

You say you have checked earth. How exactly, step by step did you do that
Have you checked that there is not +12v at the bulb holder when lights are switched on? If so how exactly did you do that?
A lot of people have volt meters but don't know the simple traps that untrained use mean you fall into and the false diagnosis that can cause. Tell me, step by step how you have done the test.

Morris 1000, Austin 1100, Escort Mk2, Fiat Mirafiori, Alfa 33, Alfa GT Junior, Alfasud, Alfetta GTV (2x), Alfa 164 3.0 V6, Alfa 164 2.0, Alfa 75 V6, Alfa 156 2.4 (diesel remapped 200bhp), Alfa 147 GTA (3.6 295bhp), Alfa 159 (diesel remapped 245bhp 300ft.lbs @ 2500rpm)
Why isn't my daughter an Alfaholic?

Hi bilsy, what engine, and year is your car, (multiplex or preplex) reason i ask is my car, tail and front side lights do not have a fuse as such, in that it can blow something in the engine bsi a resister i think, as a auto elec had to sort my bsi out, was looking for fuses for ages without sucess.
Are your front sidelights working ok.
