The engine is one .2 and can't be sure but it is multiplex

Sounds like you have shorted, and blown the resisters inside the engine bsi, a week after i shorted mine, the diesel pump stopped primeing, hence i could not start the car, i won't delve into the hassle i had.
your situation sounds simular to what i had, thats why i asked if the front side lights were working.
Get an auto electrician to have a look asap if i were you.

I think I have a similar problem.
My o/s side and rear lights won't work despite new bulbs and clean contacts.
Mine is a 2005 206 sw 1.4 hdi. I had the battery changed a few months back without realising it was a multiplexed version which needed a wierd procedure to go through when disconnecting batteries. could this be the problem?
(if you have a stumpy audio control stalk by the steering wheel its multiplexed, if its a long stalk its not. I think...)
