Looking to remove the power steering pump. It says on haynes that I need a special socket for the union nut and the part number is 0720E. So I rang parts department today and apparently they don't sell anything like it 0_o

Any ideas?

Apparently it's for the mounting bolt. Just want to swap a pump I've got from the scrapper!

If you changing the whole unit you don't need to take that wheel off. There's a couple Allen key bouts behind that.

That's where the socket is fitted .. the pic isn't great but it's not in the pulley centre .. it goes through the holes!

I think OP means the feed pipe ... there isn't much room and it probably was pic 22.4 he should have posted! It looks a bit like a brake pipe spanner although much larger than any I have.

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.
