I have just installed an after market head unit in my daughters 2000 206 lx. To connect to the cars wiring I used a iso lead to bare wires as the head unit lead was to bare wires also. I connected all wires together per instruction manual and handbook, the stereo works fine but loses all stored radio stations when ignition turned off. I have tried swapping the red and yellow wires over but the same problem exists. I have also checked with a multi meter and don't get voltage across permanent live and ground. Not sure where to go next.

Any help gratefully received.
Cheers
