I'm new to all this I've just got a 206 quicksilver and I want to change a couple of things like lowering and alloys just wondering if anyone could give me some help in finding the right ones

Careful with the Vortex alloys, if its got an MA gearbox then the gearbox won't like it.

That's the same basic idea I wanted the exterior of my car. I'm also on a 1.1 quicksilver pug. Lowering can be a right pain in the ***!! I really do recommend getting someone confident doing it. Took me 5 days to do it.
As a race mechanic, the job itself wasn't major and nothing I couldn't handle. The peugeot though, was something I wasn't expecting, haha! Everything and anything was done up tight (and I mean, TIGHT!). I had to replace Lower arms, track rod ends and anti roll bar links for new parts. Rest was just hammer and shouting. Even had to remove the drive shaft (well, disconnect the wheels from it) to lower the hub down enough to get a coilover in.
I purchased coilovers (so that's springs, dampeners, shocks) for the front which allow me to lower from 20mm to 80mm. Took about a day to get everything back together, but four to get it apart. Even had to mess with the drive shaft on the bugger just to get the coilovers under the arch! nightmare, Pal.
For the rear you'll find the car will normally "self adjust" relatively as long as your rear end hasn't seized. So it'll sit a lot lower than standard once you've adjusted the front. I replaced the shocks on the rear to help it out because it was being lowered anyhow. You just adjust the torsion bars on the rear which isn't too much trouble (unless they're seized)
Here's my car currently. I've got the spoiler (sitting in the back seats) ready to go on then she's done!

If you want a few things to do that are cheap, halfords sell the correct peugeot paint to change your black bumpers to quicksilver. It's 100% match on peugeot aluminium silver (if your car is a quicksilver, that is!). Alongside the plastic primer and lacquer it'd come to £20.47 which is enough for both side strips and a spoiler. You'll find you'll want three cans for front AND rear bumpers as they just take up a little bit more than one can each. Best to buy too much than not enough! Halfords let you take the cans back if they've never been opened so I just bought 6 and returned what wasn't needed:) really makes the car look a lot newer and makes it look real smart.
If you want to lower the car like you say, I used Pro Sport's coilover kit. Cost £130 for everything you need, front and rear. I lowered my car myself, was a right nightmare to do as everything didn't like coming out of its place! mines a 2005 so I was surprised how bad nothing wanted to move! I had to replace lower arms, track rod ends and anti roll bar links and lower arm pinch bolt (and nut) as they got damaged / had to be broken just to get the job done. Only thing about these coilovers is that you'll need 5mm spacers if you're running vortex alloys as they're
205-40-17 over the standard 185/65/14 of standard alloys (wheel goes further into the car causing the tyre to introduce itself with the shock/springs, 5mm brings it out enough to never touch)

If you're looking for any parts such as spoilers, wheels, or just parts that you car doesn't have but could, check your local scrapyard and eBay. You'll find most stuff on eBay like spoilers, etc are in the same condition as what's in a scrapyard most of the time. I've found some mint kit there and saved myself a lot of money. Vortex Alloys are £800 new and I managed to purchase a full set for £120 from a scrapyard off a 206 GTi and they didn't have a scratch on them!
