2005 DV6
Hi all,
I had my car serviced at the weekend and had the additive tank topped up, as I've had the warning message for 2000 miles now.
It was up to the level when put back in and my mate (who did the servicing) has a snap on computer, with the ability to clear codes and reset counters.
It was all reset fine until...I went to use the car this morning and the warning message is back up. I know its full and I haven't got a DPF anyway so nothing terrible will happen, but is there a specific computer required to reset this counter?
Thanks

If the counters are reset, then there is another fault with the system.
What is the exact message? And if it thinks its empty it wont regenerate meaning the dpf will block

"Diesel Additive Level Minimum"
The DPF will block, but I haven't got one as it was replaced, so I'm not bothered about it.

When I had my DPF removed and software done, I was told that the error message for the Eloys fluid will still come up and you cannot write that out of the software.
However, do I need to get a hold of a Peugeot Planet? hardware to reset the counter?
