Hi all,

Does anyone know what brake pads and discs are the standard OEM ones?
The same as what rolled out of the factory.

Brand and part number would be very useful Smile

Looking to replace the existing and still debating on keep it all original or upgrading to performance parts.

Personally i would recommend buying some decent OE replacement discs such as

Brembo ones or similar - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FRO...3f14bf2aca

And some decent pads, Ferodo, Brembo etc, again just decent OE replacements - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FRO...4d022f4bda

If you have never done it i would also advise replacing the brake fluid with fresh stuff and you could also replace your brake lines with some nice braided ones if you fancy a bit of bling and upgrading them.
The links i've put on are only examples just to give an idea, any decent OE spec discs and pads with some fresh fluid with stop the car plenty well for road use.

So the original discs and pads that came with the car from the showroom are Brembo's?

I thought they were Bendix or something?

im very sure its not brembo's out of the factory. i've also read that the oe discs could be either Bendix or Pagid? not sure too though.

If you're very particular about keeping it stock oe, then it may be difficult to achieve that in our part of the world cause peugeot themselves don't use the exact same brand as it came out of the factory. I remember popping by peugeot servicing and saw boxes of TRW. but nz is just a tiny country so there aren't many choices in parts, so it could be different across the ditch Smile

Id personally go with what DanT recommended. can't go wrong with using brembo oem replacement discs and ferodo pads.

It might be hard to prove what Peugeot fitted ... like all manufacturers it will be who gave them the best deal at the time ... so there could be a mixture of stock on the shelf ... and all are likely to be branded Peugeot although they didn't actually make them.

Who made the calipers is also a mixture ... some have Bendix, some Lucas I think ...

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

Nope, as i said thats just what i'd recommend, there's zero point in trying to figure out what Peugeot fitted at the time imo, when you can buy cheaper, better parts to replace them.

I'm sure my pads were Bendix and the rears were textars.
