So sadly my 2005 Peugeot 206 is back in my garage Am so mad, as have spent quite a lot on it in the last couple of weeks.
There seems to be a clutch problem now. Its as though the car stays in neutral, even when i move the gear stick into the first or second or reverse, the car doesnt move.
The clutch pedal has also gone very stiff.
Any suggestions please?

Could be the selector rods from the gear lever to the gearbox have come detached.

I assume you are trying to put it in gear with the engine running?.... Try putting it in gear and then crank it over. Make sure there is nothing in front of the car and the handbrake is applied..... What happens??

So had a guy come over for a quick check today, its not the clutch cable, which was obviously wishful thinking. he says its probably the clutch itself or something to do with the gearbox. will know on tuesday. i hope its something easy like something which has become disconnected -we did very recently have a new lft front drive shaft installed..could maybe have caused something to loosen?
