Hey guys yet again another issue with my 1.1 206.....
Hopefully you people can help Smile

Car was fine this morning, went to work and welded on a stainless 'sports' backbox, (just to get a bit more noise from her), drove fine for apron an hour or so after and now it started to misfire here and there........ I'll be driving along and it will start spluttering and what not for a few mins then all of a sudden be fine again and come back to life,

Is it when you dip the clutch or just when driving?

Did you have the battery connected when the exhaust was being welded?

I broke a lambda sensor on a Renault Megane I was working on a couple of years ago because I forgot to disconnect the battery. I wasn't near anywhere the lambda sensor with the welding, closer to back box to be exact. But right after the job the car started to act up and it was sorted by changing the sensor to a new one..

If I remember correctly it started misfiring and had a very bad idle.

Sorted it, was the coil pack, we'll I hope it was lol £36 later it's driving perfect, we'll as far as perfect has been for this car, next onto the suspension issues, could any of you have a look at my post in the suspension part as I can put my finger on everything else apart from the very loud bang from n/s front corner when going over a speed bump, even slowly......

Much appreciated Smile
