yes that will also fit but i think the exhaust ports on the 180 are slightly bigger, I have the 180 exhaust and inlet on mine.

The 180 runs a cable linkage, the 138 rod set up will hit the manifold.

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

i also think the exhaust ports on the 180 are bigger,so if you put the 180 exhaust on a gti head the ports wont match.
you have to adjust the ports of the gti to the larger 180 exhaust.

If the 180 manifold ports are bigger than the 138 head ports it will be fine.

And a thing that would be wise to check (I'm not sure about this) is that can you fit the gti front pipe to the gti180 manifold. Is the connection between them at the same place and is the pipe diameter different.

Rattling GTI manifold is quite easy to fix, remove the front pipe from the exhaust manifold and tack weld the four pipes inside the manifold together.

Picture of a welded manifold

Though.. It can be hard to reach when the manifold is in place..

This is a common problem on all the regular EW engines.
