Hi, I bought a Peugeot 206 1.4 '02 automatic recently, the temp gauge is stuck half way when the car is not running & flickers, jumps to red as soon as car is started & fan kicks in soon as. I have just paid £600 at a garage to fix it but still is the same, it's had new thermostat, temp switch & other things but now been told that it could be a fault with the ecu, could anyone help this damsel in distress please Crying or Very sad

A quick scan of the ecu should show the fault.

Where are you based?

I've been reading the threads & some say there are 3 sensors others say 2 & also could be a dash wiring or sensor fault

Check on the Pp2000 map. There maybe a member nearby who can offer assistance. There are some dodgy garages out there

Not necessarily.

'Bit more detail needed and history of the problem, esp if a professional garage has already worked on it.
