it all depends on so many diffrent factors mate, two 20 yrs old could be very diffrent prices but daughter at 21 was paying 1100 on a 180

as said mate there are so many diffrent factors in your insurance quotes that yes ok the sexist part did help her but she could still be cheaper than a 21 yr old elsewhere with diffrent history ect.
past cars will help, if your used too high power cars then that will help knock it down and she was used to driveing all my old cars so she had experiance of scoobs, evo's gt4's and golf 2.8 4motion.
if she had not been used to them i doubt many ins co's would have even quoted her.

In the last 25 years I've never been asked what cars I have had driving experience with in the past. Maybe the insurance has been ripping me off for all these years.

i doubt you been ripped off as like me you got plenty of yrs under your belt, but for youngsters alot of factors will decide on there final price and a young person with no experiance of a high bhp car will be classed as a higher risk than one that does have the experiance of said car, so the insurance co will load them more untill they can prove that they can handle one.
