Hey everyone.. hope your well.
Im seriously looking at upgrading to a janspeed exhaust before i go ahead and spend loads of a full system
My question is.. do actually need to buy the full system or can i just buy the backbox...
Will i still get pops/small performance difference with just the backbox?

i had a ashley cat back (with middle box removed) and that pops
performance wise i never had it standard so cant compare but a full one without cat it definitely has better power at lower revs than with a cat.

Can you fit a Janspeed backbox to a standard centre section? To be honest you're never going to see massive gains from just fitting an exhaust system unless it has a fair few more serious mods but even for noise and pops and bangs alone i'd fit the whole system

Yeah I know I'm not going to gain much performance wise really but there'll still be a little increase so i've read anyway.
I don't really know if itll go on the standard system, they just need to check the bore sizes?
Any other thoughts of whole system or not? Don't want to spend a extra £200 if I don't need to

For the price of the backbox alone you may aswell pay the extra to get the full system. You wont regret it. It does drone too much on motorways and the popping is insane on the down run

I've seen a full Stainless steel Janspeed system on ebay for £195 but the tailpipes don't have Janspeed inscribed on them but the seller is adamant it is a genuine system. It looks identical to ones seen on here apart from no "Janspeed" inscribed on the tail pipe.
Anyone know if they did two different types?

just phone them up and ask them direct mate they are very helpfull i have got a few systems off them over the yrs for diffrent cars and been down to the factory quite alot, they should be able to help if anyone can.

yes i get that but janspeed will tell you if they ever made a system for the 206 without stamping it with there name.
