Hi,my fob was missing the rubber cover over the lock button so being lazy I have been just clicking the little black one on the circuit chip, but the other night I went to lock it and seen it had fallen off.Can I just buy a new circuit chip and just reprogram it? any help would be much appreciated.

Well you can do that, but it has to match the last letter on yours like "C" or what ever you have, and reprogram it with PP2000,and you need to have the 4 digits security code.

BUT.....

You can save all the hassle,by having the replacement kit (comes 2 buttons),and you can replace the one is faulty, and all will be back great, and with a new fob ofcourse.

Thanks for the reply, so will that new button work straight away once connected to the circuit?

Also do you know anything about electric windows? my right one started making a kinda crackiling noise the other day and now it stops about 25/30ml from the top and won't close fully,it's very slow and squeaky going up and down now aswell

You are welcome, sorry for the late reply, well as you connect that button to the circuit, everything will be back to normal :).

About your window regulator, you need a replacement, try scrapy yard for a second hand one.

Can confirm - I had to re-solder mine the other week, only took two minutes and worked fine.
