I am going to have a got at fitting my 406 auto dim mirror but I have no idea how to remove the existing mirror as I have the autoo wipers any advice on how to do this?

Yep really easy, The mirror and base should slide away. Think you push down the windscreen.
Its a brilliant mod. Couldn't live without now.

thanks mate was trying to just push it up so push it towards the screen yeah then up ?

Cant remember the exact way you push it but it comes off with ease.

just managed to get it off thanks for your help mate just need to wire it now I was going to cut the loom off and use 5amp cable slicers.
