Hello
For about a week now I have heard a clunking/grinding coming from the front of the car, it only happens when I'm pulling away or slowing down. I have been told that it could be the ball joint. Can anyone tell me is this easy to check and how? Or any other potential problems that it could be??

Could be engine, gearbox, or exhaust mounts.
