I am at the end of my tether with 1.6 206 cc .. only had it two weeks 03 plate .. seems underpowered and foot is flat to the floor
then will pick up .. put on peugeot planet no faults . Changed all filters plugs . Still no improvement .. seems cant drive at low revs and always need to get up to 4000 revs to change gear .. seems like i have to drive it like a bloody rally car to get good drive .. help

also might be a long shot but have you checked that the throttle is actually opening up fully.....could just be a poorly adjusted cable

Should be an electronic fly by wire throttle on this one as it will be the Bosch ME 744 system.

What are the chances that it has recently had a cam belt change and the valve timing is wrong?
Might also be worth doing a compression test to check that everything is basically sound with the engine.
