Age, engine size and diesel or petrol would help!
Any mods on the car and if petrol 8V or 16V?
Do you have an itemised list of the work done at the service?

Try cleaning the throttle body and the sensors on the throttle body, could also be a clogged up ICV that needs cleaning

It could be compression down, failing spark plug, failing injector, air leak on inlet, failing MAP sensor. If it happened immediately after or very soon after the service then it could be one of the new plugs is defective or one of the recirculating air pipes is dislodged or split.
A quick check to find which of the cylinders is misfiring, if it is a single failing cylinder problem, is to buy an infra red thermometer and measure the temperature of each exhaust manifold branch and the one misfiring will be significantly cooler than the rest.
